　　性感美丽的埃琳娜（罗珊娜?马奎达 Roxane Mesquida 饰）和肥胖平凡的安娜福斯(安妮?瑞布 Ana?s Reboux 饰)是一对姐妹，在与家人来法国海滨之城度假期间，姐姐埃琳娜与年轻帅气的意大利小伙弗兰多（利贝罗?德?瑞恩佐 Libero De Rienzo 饰）一见钟情。埃琳娜在父母那打着和妹妹一起出游的幌子却和弗兰多打得火热。姐姐向肥妹妹炫耀着男友送给自己的昂贵戒指，当着肥妹妹的面和男友谈情说爱，打情骂俏，在肥妹妹面前把初夜给了弗兰多，这一切让沉默自卑的安娜福斯内心进行着一场肥胖与情欲的痛苦挣扎，心生嫉妒却只能通过幻想来排解自己的空虚。然而故事却远远没有结束，这时弗兰多的母亲却上门要求她们归还儿子未经允许送出的戒指，情节开始发生了巨大的转折，也许一场悲剧正在上演… 

　　该片导演凯瑟琳?布雷亚在2001年获得第54届戛纳电影节“法国文化电台奖?年度法国电影人”的奖项。
